The 19th Annual Benjamin Franklin Awards

By: eWritingToday.com

The 19th Annual Benjamin Franklin Awards™ competition for excellence in publishing throughout the year 2006.

The awards recognize excellence in both editorial and design. The specific genre categories are judged by three industry professionals, coming from the library, bookstore, reviewer, designer, publicity and editorial markets. The comments from these judges are returned to all participants at the completion of the competition. This awards program is the only one that allows you to receive direct comments from the people who will make the buying and/or review decisions on your product.

All finalists will be displayed during the Publishing University and at the Awards Ceremony and all winners will be displayed in a special booth at BookExpo America at the Javits Center in New York City in June 2007. Winners and finalists will also be featured on the PMA website.

All PMA members and Benjamin Franklin participants will be invited to celebrate with us at the gala Awards Ceremony in New York City in May 2007.

All finalists will be notified in April 2007. The winners in each category will be announced at the PMA Benjamin Franklin Awards presentation in New York City during the 2007 Publishing University. Finalists will receive a certificate of excellence; winners will receive the Benjamin Franklin Award trophy. All finalists will be displayed during the 2007 Publishing University. All winners will be displayed in a special booth within the PMA cooperative booths at BookExpo America 2007. All judges critiques will be mailed to each participant during June 2007.
